About Me

Hey! My name is Samantha Wilson, and I’m currently a sophomore at the College of Charleston. I’m majoring in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology. I was born and raised in South Carolina. 

My mom runs an at-home babysitting business, so I grew up helping take care of children. I officially started babysitting in middle school and continued throughout high school. I’ve always known I wanted to work with kids, and becoming a teacher felt like the perfect path for me. I hope to teach kindergarten or first grade in the future. 

My goal as a teacher is to create a positive and engaging classroom where children feel excited to learn. I want to make a lasting impact on my students. 

Outside of school, I love reading, taking walks outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. I’m also a big hockey fan!
