District Science Coordinator Professional Learning

Science Professional Learning Enriching DSCs & the Instruction of Teachers (SPLENDIT) is a Noyce Track 4 study exploring how the professional learning (PL) of District Science Coordinators (DSCs) impacts, if at all, the effectiveness and retention of new teachers in high-need local educational agencies (LEAs). DSCs can have partial or full responsibility for supporting science teachers in their districts, but little is known about their training and actual impact with teachers.
