Page Numbers and Text

Add Page Numbers

  1. Under the "Window" menu in the taskbar, select "Pages"

  2. Select "A-Master" (this will show you what is formatted to be on every single page"

3. Select the "Text Box" tool (left hand side, 6th from bottom) or shortcut command/ctrl+t

4. Create a text box by dragging and dropping the shape where needed

5. Under the "Type" menu, select "Insert Special Character", "Markers", then "Current Page Number"

6. Select "Properties" next to "Pages" on the right hand side


7. Here Fill, Stroke (outline), font, size, alignment, etc. can all be configured



Note: In case of not wanting to apply master to page (example: no page numbers for title page) select "[None]" above master and drag and drop to needed pages
