Pullet Auction
All bidding will end at 7pm on 11/22/2021, or soon thereafter to allow no more than 5 minutes without an active bid.
Welcome to the 2021 South Carolina 4-H Pullet Auction!
All bidders MUST register before bidding on 4-H birds.
Bidding Will Close at 7:00pm on 11/22/21!
Increased bids are accepted by $1.00 increments; whole numbers. Do not use $0.01 or any other "cent" increments per bird. Bids will be awarded to the largest bid in the proper amount (whole dollar increases).
Bid Math: $Your Bid x # birds in lot = $total to be paid
Example: $15 your bid amount entered x 3 birds = $45 total to be paid if awarded bid
Please note the location of each lot. Winning bidders must plan for travel to meet 4-H Staff within a given radius of each lot's location (as listed below). Winning bidders must bring a cage/crate at the time of the transfer of birds. At the time of the transfer of birds, all sales are final. Bidders may bid on any lot of birds posted on this website for auction - travel required.
The total bid amount will be multiplied by the number of birds in EACH lot for a total of the lot. Minimum of $15 per bird on every lot. For example, Lot 1 has 5 birds. A $15 winning bid will be $75 total paid to Clemson University via an online payment system provided to winning bidders after the close of the auction. ($15 x 5 birds = $75 total)
To bid or check bids, click the links below each photo of auction birds. Photos should also be clickable links to the bid site for each lot. 4-H Poultry Committee Staff will contact winning bidders between November 23rd and December 10th to coordinate payment and transfer of birds.
Current bids are all posted, individually, on each Auction Lot Bid Form, as well as, there is a link under each auction listing on this webpage.
Bidding opens November 8, 2021 and closes at 7pm, November 22, 2021. However, if the final bid was entered less than 5 minutes before the close of bidding, other bidders will have up to 5 minutes from the time of the last bid to submit a higher bid. This will continue until such time that 5 minutes has elapsed since the final bid. All bids are timestamped.
