Professor Lu Wei (Texas Tech University, USA) will be invited as a visiting professor in Chuo University. He will stay in our group for three weeks in June and July. On Wednesday 25 June 2025, he will give introductory lectures on random matrix theory and its application to information theory for undergraduate and graduate students.

A part of the master thesis of Ayana Ezoe (graduated in March 2025) is now published online in Journal of the Physical Society of Japan.

To our knowledge, this paper shows the first example of random marked point processes such that they become hyperuniform if and only if the marks to points are taken into account.

A part of the master thesis of Natsuko Hoshi (graduated in March 2022)

will appear as an article in Contemporary Mathematics published by American Mathematical Society.

 She has proved the elliptic extensions of the Chaundy and Bullard identity studied by Tom H. Koornwinder (Amsterdam) and Michael J. Schlosser (Vienna).
