In the Spring semester you will read easy-to-read books outside of class each week. During class time you will talk and/or write about the books that you read. 春学期（はるがっき）の授業では、毎週、授業時間外にやさしい本を読みます。授業中には、読んだ本について話したり、書いたりします。

You can choose to read e-books (click here for guidelines about how to download them) OR read physical books by borrowing them from the 4F library at Chuo University Myogadani. 本は、電子書籍（ダウンロード方法については[こちら]をクリック）か、中央大学茗荷谷キャンパス4階の図書室で借りられる紙の本のどちらかを選んで読むことができます。

The goal is to read comfortably and fluently in English and to enjoy reading and talking or writing about the books that you read. You can use your Chuo University library card as usual to access the actual graded readers (extensive reading books) located on the 4th floor. 中央大学の図書館カードを通常通り使って、4階にある実物のグレーデッド・リーダー（=多読図書）を利用することができます。

The books in each series can be divided into different levels of English. You will probably start at Level 1 or 2. 各シリーズの書籍は、様々なレベルの英語に分かれています。 まずは、レベル1または2から始めます。

(1) After you have read, say, some books at Level 1 or 2, move up and try books at Level 3. If Level 3 is comfortable for you, continue at that level.
