1) Try different ways of listening (日本語の説明 - 英語の説明)

2) Use different resources for listening to/watching news online in English:

• ABC News Videos

• Al Jazeera News Videos

• BBC News One-minute Video Stories

• CBC Video News

• CNN 10 Videos

• Deutsche Welle Video News

• NHK World in English

• Voice of America Video News Stories

3) Make listening notes in your A4 notebook, writing down useful words and phrases from the news stories that you listen to, so that you can explain and talk about the news stories in class with other students.

4) Develop your way of making listening notes:

• Example notes: Listening to news stories (in the first part of the Spring semester)

• Example notes: Listening on a topic (in the second half of the Spring semester)
