This website has supplementary materials for the Resources for Learning about Global Issues & ICR Resources websites.
Completely updated in September and October 2026, it provides resources for each of the 30 global-local issues listed below. Taking a social justice perspective, each webpage is divided into three main parts:
Overview: A short introduction to each issue written in accessible, easy-to-understand English
Resources: Selected webpages and articles in Japanese and English, as well as short videos in English, for multimedia research
Inquiry: Clear prompts to help you focus your interest and begin your own inquiry.
How to use this website
Use the Overview to develop your foundational understanding and talk about an issue in easy-to-understand English. (Optional: Check the top of the Overview section for a link to an "easier-to-read" version.)
Use the Resources to deepen your understanding by reading articles, watching videos, and taking notes.
Use the Inquiry section to focus your interest and start to organise your research.
このウェブサイトは、地球規模の課題を学ぶためのリソースResources for Learning about Global Issues および ICR Resources の各ウェブサイトのための補足教材を提供しています。
2026年9月〜10月に全面改訂され、以下にリストアップされている30のグローバル／ローカルな課題それぞれに関するリソースを掲載しています。社会正義（ソーシャル・ジャスティス）の観点から、各ウェブページは主に以下の3つのパートで構成されています。
Overview: 各課題について、アクセスしやすく分かりやすい英語で書かれた短い導入文です。
Resources: マルチメディアによるリサーチに役立つよう厳選された、日本語と英語のウェブページや記事、ならびに英語の短い動画です。
Inquiry: 自身の関心を明確にし、主体的な探究をスタートさせるための具体的な問いかけです。
「Overview」を活用して基礎的な理解を深め、分かりやすい英語で課題について話せるようになりましょう。（オプション：「概要」セクションの上部にあるリンクから、「より読みやすい」バージョンを確認することもできます。）
「Resources」を活用して、記事を読んだり動画を視聴したりしてメモを取りながら、理解をさらに深めましょう。
「Inquiry」セクションを活用して、自分の関心を絞り込み、リサーチの構成を始めましょう。
