1st period: Student may enter the classroom at the first bell (8:00 am). I encourage them to first take care of their needs (bio-breaks) and ensure they are ready for their day. Once they have settled, they are to remain in the class until it begins, 8:10 am. 

Office hours: Advocating for yourself means respectfully speaking up and ensuring that your needs are met. 

If class time doesn't allow for this, please come see me during 'office hours'! Be proactive about your work and your grades. If you wish to make up missed assignments, retake an assessment which was not at Standard, and/or have a private conversation, you are welcome to make an appointment for either lunch time, before or after school. 

I ask for an appointment so I can ensure I reserve that time to focus on you. You can do this several different ways, speak to me during class, email me, or drop by during a passing period for which you have ample downtime.🤜🏼🤛🏼
