Book Production

Script for Book

Step 1: Script

We wrote a script for the book in docs.

Step 2: Design

We designed our book in Canva.

Step 3: Funding

To professionally print our book each copy costs $20. We asked SEED, our local educational foundation, for $1000 to have our book professionally printed but they actually gave us $200 extra because they were so excited about our project.

Step 4: Print

Originally we printed copies ourselves using the public library printers but the book was so well received that we had it professionally printed with an ISBN number!

We utilized BookBaby an online company that was very user friendly.

Step 5: Share

With the generous grant from SEED we were able to purchase 50 hardcover professionally printed copies of our book. We donated copies to every school library in our district as well as the public library!

This is the board we brought to competition! We made it in Canva and had it printed at our public library.
