Activity: Giving Gratitude
Take a few moments every day to write down 5 things you are grateful for. Use the template above, your phone, a piece of paper, journal, or something else to write down your 5 things. Remember to make it your own- be creative.
Write a letter to someone (mom, grandpa, aunt, cousin, friend, teacher, etc.) to let them know how much you appreciate them. Ask your parents to help you send the letter.
Skill: Take Initiative
Activity: I am in charge of me.
Instead of being told what to do (brush your teeth, chores, school work, taking care of pets, etc.) by your parents/guardians, take the time to do those things before you are asked. Imagine how pleased your parents/guardians will be that you took the initiative to get things done!
