I was an Emerald Dazzler all four years of my high school experience, from 2013 to 2017, serving as Historian, Jr. Lieutenant, and Captain over those years. During my time on the team, I made several lifelong friends and learned many life-lessons and skills which I have carried into my adulthood. Being a Dazzler allowed me to refine and grow in not only my dancing, but also my social, emotional, and leadership skills. It wasn't always easy, but it was always worth it. I went into Dazzlers as a freshman with the intent to just keep my dance career going, but I left with so much more. I will always look back on my time as an Emerald Dazzler with love and appreciation; it was one of the most rewarding endeavors of my entire life. Without my time as a Dazzler, I would not be the person I am today.
