About the FZW Orchestras...
The Fort Zumwalt West Middle and High School Orchestras are comprised of more than 250 students in the West quadrant of the Fort Zumwalt School District. We serve our community through performance of music from a variety of cultures and styles.

Jenina Kenessey, WMS Orchestra Teacher
Ms. Kenessey holds a Bachelor’s degree in cello performance from Michigan State University and a Masters in Music Education from the University of Illinois. Ms. Kenessey has been teaching middle school orchestra for sixteen years and currently serves as director of Orchestras at Fort Zumwalt West Middle School. Jenina has been engaged as clinician for the E. Desmond Lee Middle School Festival Orchestra, the St. Louis Suburban District 5 Honors Orchestra, and additional middle school orchestra clinics in Fort Zumwalt and St. Charles School Districts. Prior to her work in Missouri, Jenina served as adjunct cello faculty at Illinois Wesleyan University. She also served as Vice President of the Metro District 8 Honors Orchestra for three years, including the inaugural year of the Metro 8 Middle School Honors Orchestra.
Jenina maintains an active cello studio in O’Fallon, Missouri.
