High School Summer School 2020 General Information

  • All course work will be completed online and students are required to communicate virtually with their instructor.

  • It is important that students log on that day, if they are in the first session, to make sure they are able to access the class or classes that they are enrolled in. If they are unable to do so, they will need to contact LAUNCH at enroll@fueledbylaunch.com or (417)-523-0417

  • If a student does not log onto their class within the first two days of a session, they will be automatically dropped from that class. It is also important to note that if a student does not finish a credit attainment course, (examples include Health and Personal Finance), they will receive a F on their high school transcript.

  • Personal Finance (must have Sophomore Standing) and Health will be offered for Credit Attainment. Students must be registered by May 15.

  • Students must register for Credit Recovery coursework by May 22. Credit recovery for core coursework in Science, Math, Social Studies and ELA will be offered.

  • Session 1 will run June 3 - June 30, Session 2 will run July 6 - 31

  • Students may earn up to 1 credit and may enroll in either semester. There will be no extensions. Students must complete coursework by the last day of the semester.

  • Students will receive a “Pass” or “Fail” grade for credit recovery courses. Pass/Fail grades are not averaged into a student’s cumulative grade point average. Students taking credit attainment courses will receive the letter grade that they earn through the Launch program.
