Birthday Book Club

Dear Parents,

I would like to introduce you to our Birthday Book Club program at Flint Hill Elementary Library. Participation in the program is voluntary and easy. This will be a great way to recognize your child’s special day, help build our new library collection, and celebrate literacy. Each “Birthday Book” will be added to the regular collection for all the students to read and enjoy. Your child’s donation will be recognized with a special bookplate placed inside the front cover of the book. We will take his/her picture for our Birthday Book Club bulletin board. Each child will also receive a thank-you and a special treat from the library. I will have a wide variety of 2018-2019 books spanning different genres, reading levels, and interests for your child to choose from.

Here are the logistics:

1. Send in a payment of $15 cash or check made out to FHE with the attached form.
2. The month of your child’s birthday, we will have a special birthday celebration in the library. Your child will choose a brand new book from the selection available to be placed in the library in honor of him/her. Summer birthdays will be celebrated in May.
3. Your child will be the first FHE student to check out his/her chosen Birthday Book Club book will have a book plate placed inside the cover of the book honoring your child.
