Classroom Lessons

At least once per month, each class receives one, 40 minute, classroom counseling lesson. 

The counseling curriculum in the Fort Zumwalt School District is based on the American School Counseling Association standards as well as The Missouri School Counseling grade-level expectations, aligned with Missouri State standards. We have adopted a new curriculum with an emphasis on teaching Executive Functioning Skills such as self-regulation, whole body listening, planning/organization, and social skills, we will also be integrating skills based on The 7 Habits of Happy Kids by Sean Covey. I will update this page with a year at a glance of our subject matters for each month!
