You know about Lincoln Park today but long ago it wasn't anything like how it is today! Did you know that Lincoln Park was used as a city cemetery and it was quiet and far from the city.

Some time later Lincoln Park was rebuilt and ended up getting a park and a zoo. The new park and zoo soon became an attraction. 

In Lincoln Park they also built the Lincoln Park Conservatory with flowers and plants even in the winter.

Now Lincoln Park is a big part of chicago that many people know of today.

The brown line opened in May 18, 1907 over 115 years ago! At first it went from Western Avenue. Later in the same year on December 14 1907 it was finished and went all the way to Kimball station.

Soon the Brown Line would start to become big business, it would start having hundreds and thousands of people coming to what would soon become one of the biggest businesses.

Now the brown line is a nice comfortable transportation, and way to get around. It is  now known for things such as the holiday train.
