Ms. Delgadillo is beginning her 25th year, as a education professional. She attended Langston University (GO LIONS!) where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Journalism. After teaching in Oklahoma for 3 years, Ms. Delgadillo moved back to her home state of California. While there, she worked as a teacher and attended UCLA, where she received her certification in teaching Special Populations. Once complete, she moved to Texas.
After teaching for several years and raising her 2 children, Ms. Delgadillo decided to go back to school! While attending the University of Texas at Arlington (GO MAVS!), Ms. Delgadillo has earned both a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Focus in Reading and TESOL) and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. She was awarded her Texas Principal Certification on January 8th, 2018!
In addition Ms. D was awarded the 2023 Chairs for Teaching Excellence in Middle School STEM.
