"I have been fortunate to work clinically as an athletic trainer at the high school, community college, and professional sports level. These settings gave me the opportunity to work directly with budgets, inventory, salaries, travel expenses and reimbursements, using various spreadsheet programs to track all income and expenditures.

I feel that it is important to serve the profession and I have strived to do that over the course of my career. I served on the Board of the California Community College Association for nine years, the last three years as President. For four years as Chair of the FWATA College and University Athletic Trainers Committee, and as a member of the CATA Legislative Action team. I understand the need to follow the policies and procedures of our organization, especially when it comes on the financial side.

If I am selected for this position, I promise each of you that I will serve ethically and to be a good

steward of the membership’s money. I will ensure that the Far West Athletic Trainers’ Association will continue to have good relationships with our vendors and hotels by completing the financial aspect of conventions in a timely manner so that we can continue to offer learning opportunities for our members."
