Press Rule

• No press rule when a team is leading by 20 points.

• Teams will receive one warning from officials before a technical foul is given to the bench.

Warmups

• Will be 10 minutes where time allows.

• If schedule is running behind, the warm-ups will be shortened to a minimum of 5 minutes.

Game Time

• Each game is 4 x 8 minutes quarters.

• 2 minutes between quarters and 5 minute halftime.

Game Guarantees

• Teams are guaranteed 3 games.

Overtime

• Overtime will be 5 minutes.

• 1 Timeout per team

Run Time

• If score gets wider than 30+ points, the team who is losing can decide to switch to running time.

Start Time

• Game times are the expected start of the games and not the expected start of warm ups. Please plan accordingly.

Light Jersey vs Dark Jersey will be determined based on the game schedule

• The Team 1 on the draw will use their Light colored jersey (if possible)

• The Team 2 on the draw will use their Dark colored jersey (if possible)

• Team 1 will sit on the Home Bench (indicated by sign) **unless playing HLPS who will always be home.

• Team 2 will sit on the Guest Bench (indicated by sign)

Each team will be assigned a classroom (some will be staying here overnight)

All classrooms at HLPS will be available after 3:30pm on Friday until after teams final game

Conditions

• Coaches must stay with players while in classroom

• please ensure no ball use (passing, dribbling, etc) or sports activities in hallways or classrooms

• please do not touch classroom material

• HLPS is not responsible for any lost or damaged items. It is the responsibility of each team to ensure their assigned classroom is maintained throughout the weekend
