Knowing your Audience
Prior to any Training session, it is important to get a deep understanding of who will be in attendance. To get to know the educators you are working with on a deeper level, so that you can better meet their needs, consider setting up 1:1 interviews or sending out a survey prior to the session using the Google Form below.
Use the information gathered from interviews or surveys to pull out key themes and create personas.
Use the Trainings developed in this collaborative deck with educators in your own school / district to build their comprehension and confidence with Google Tools and how they can be leveraged to amplify in-person learning.
You will each have your own copy of the deck, which will allow you to add any additional trainings that you may create.
Have your educators complete the following form to capture their reflections for the Google Training session they attended. Inform them that their reflection will be shared with their facilitator to help identify best next steps. In addition, you can set up the form using Form Director so attendees will receive a badge for each Training session they complete.
Steps to Take:
Make a copy of the Feedback & Reflection Form
Make a copy of the Reflection & Badge Template
Use the Form Director Add-On in Google Forms -- follow the appropriate prompts
Create your email copy with messaging that you want sent to all educators who attend your training
Ensure both you and each educator receives a copy of the email & reflection template
Set up a meeting with each educator to review reflections and together, set next steps for training for professional upskilling
