How do I check out a book?
To check out a book simply have your student ID card ready to be scanned and make your way to my desk. You can check out up to 3 books and books must be returned within 3 weeks. Your books will be date stamped for your convenience.
How do I return a book?
As you enter the library please place your returned items in the big gray box on the right side of the entrance.
How can I place a hold on a book?
You can place a hold on a book by logging into your Destiny Discover account (see Destiny Discover page for login information) then search for the desired book, once located click on the "place a hold" button. Don't forget to log out!
How can I renew a book?
If the book is returned in good condition and there is no hold placed on the book, you may then renew it for another 3 weeks.
How can I check out a chrome book?
Chrome books can be checked out for library use only during lunch time and after school. They are used for school assignments/homework only. Student ID cards are needed for chrome book check out.
What if I damage a book?
Let me know as soon as possible if the library book gets damaged under your care. Please do not repair the damage yourself as I have the correct materials to take care of light damages. If the book is damaged beyond repair (missing pages, cover completely torn off, water damage etc.) then you will be charged the standard fee of $25 for the replacement.
What happens if my book is overdue?
If you have not returned your book, I will email you each day until it's returned. If it's overdue by a month then I will assume the book is lost and you will be charged the standard fine for a lost book.
