I send out a weekly email/newsletter on Fridays about what we covered in class that week, and any important information about the following week/s.
Class overview
We are going to use Benchmark Advance for ELA; Math Expressions for Math; Amplify for Science, and TCI for Social Studies along with different activities and projects for Science and Social Studies.
Supplies List:
pencils
black sharpie (regular and fine tip)
erasers
highlighters
post-it notes (2-3, may need more throughout the year)
coloring materials (colored pencils, crayons, markers, etc.)
hand sanitizer (refillable size, please)
disinfecting wipes (1 pack)*
boxes of tissue (1-2)*
*earbuds (non Bluetooth) or headphones for individual use (must be kept in the classroom)

About Ms. Casey
This is my 11th year teaching at Warm Springs. Since I've been teaching at WS, I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade! I am very excited to get this new year started.
I live in San Jose and do not currently have any children or pets. I live in San Jose with my fiancé, and we will be getting married in November!
I love reading, exercising at Orangetheory, baking, and the beach! I really enjoy going boogie-boarding in the ocean. I also love traveling, and have been trying to reach all 50 states! I have currently visited 18. I wonder if I'll visit any new ones this year....
I'm sure you'll learn lots more about me as the year goes on, just like I plan to learn all about each of you this year, too!
