Hello students and families!

I am so excited for the wonderful year we have ahead of us in 4th grade! To help you get to know me a little better, here are a few things I’d like to share.

I graduated from Sonoma State University in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I recently completed my Master's in Educational Leadership at Cal State East Bay, where I also earned my Administrative Credential. My thesis focused on teacher-student relationships and how they shape the classroom environment—something I'm deeply passionate about.

This is my ninth year at Brookvale, and I truly love being part of this school community. We have incredible students, families, and staff, and I feel so fortunate to be here!

I was born and raised in San Jose, California, where I still live with my husband, our sweet baby girl, Evangeline, and our cat. Becoming a mom this year has been such a wonderful adventure, and I love spending time with my family whenever I'm not at school.

Fourth grade is an exciting year filled with new challenges, increased independence, and lots of opportunities for growth. Students will strengthen their reading, writing, math, and problem-solving skills while becoming more confident, responsible learners. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels supported, challenged, and excited to learn each day.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy baking, reading, traveling, crafting, playing with my cat, and making memories with my family and friends.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and having an amazing year together!
