Ahoy, Mateys!

I'm Captain Gibson, and I've proudly been teaching at Patterson Elementary since the 2004–2005 school year. Patterson has been part of my family's story for generations—I attended Patterson as a student, my mom went here, and years later my son became a Patterson Panther too. It's an honor to continue that tradition.

In our classroom, every student is an important member of the crew. We'll have fun, tackle exciting challenges, and celebrate our successes together. While our adventures will be exciting, every great pirate ship needs order. I believe the best learning happens in a classroom that is fun, structured, and built on respect, responsibility, and hard work.
