I’m proud to serve as the principal of Walters Middle School, home of the Warriors. I’ve been at Walters for five years and have worked in education since 2006. I’m passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive. It’s an honor to lead a school community as resilient and spirited as the Walters Warriors.

When I am not at Walters, I love spending time with my family, traveling, discovering new places, and making memories with the people (and pets!) that I love most. I believe life is about enjoying the little moments, laughing often, and always making time for the people who matter.
TEXAS A&M FOOTBALL
My nephew plays football at Texas A&M University, so I spend time in College Station, Texas often. He is in his second year there! Look out for him, Marco Jones, #10 on the defense!

I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I spend a lot of time with my family. The picture here is of us this summer in Alaska!

I worked In Oakland as a 4th grade teacher from 2006 to 2015. I worked as an administrator In Oakland for one year before coming to FUSD. This Is a picture of a student from one of my first classes at her baby shower earlier last year.
