Growth Mindset
Developing a growth mindset is an important part of one's learning journey. We will work all year to strengthen our growth mindsets. Included is a video from Dr. Carol Dweck that help to describe what a growth mindset is and how to work to achieve it. Throughout the school year students are expected to not only solve a problem correctly but to be able to explain how they did it, demonstrating their math thinking and growth mindset. Being able to not only solve but to explain communicates mastery of the standards.
