ABOUT & WELCOME

Welcome, students and families! I am so excited to learn and grow with you this year. I am a proud Chinese American educator who speaks both English and Mandarin. I grew up in San Jose, CA, and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education Sciences and Public Health Policy, as well as my Master of Arts in Teaching, from UC Irvine. I hold both a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Single Subject English Credential. 

Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, exploring new cafes, hiking, traveling, dancing, and spending time with my friends and family.

In our classroom, my goal is for every student to build confidence in reading and writing while discovering books they enjoy. I strive to create a structured classroom where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and growing as learners.
