• I have been teaching at Durham since 2016. I'm very proud to be a Durham Eagle :)

• I have been a teacher in California since 2001. I have taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade with the majority of my experience being a 2nd grade teacher.  

• I was born and raised in Hawaii and graduated from the University of California, San Diego.

• My favorite subjects to teach are Math and Social Studies.

• I can speak and understand a bit of Spanish.

• I had my 1st and only child in 2016. Marissa is now 9 years old and will be in 4th grade this year.

• I enjoy singing, hanging out with my family, and watching movies. My favorites are chocolate, playing games on my google apps and sushi :)
