Curriculum:

Math and Science curriculums are both Common Core.  These curriculums have real-world applications and are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in each subject.  Some of the topics can be challenging for students so supplemental material is used to support student learning.  

In Math, students will focus on basic skills and how they apply to higher problems.  The new concepts are based on and utilize the basic skills so students are supported with the basic skills as they need assistance.   Each of the new concepts is broken down into smaller steps and explained with time to practice.   

In Science, students will study topics such as force and motion, light waves, and natural selection while using a variety of methods to learn key concepts.  Utilizing the curriculum, online simulations, experiments, group projects, and individual study, students will deepen their understanding of the world around them.
