Fremont has over 50 million square feet of office/R&D/industrial space and 900 companies that are “making” and manufacturing in these buildings. While driving past these facilities, have you ever wondered what kinds of activities are happening inside?
The first Friday in October is celebrated as Manufacturing Day and offers a chance to look inside some of these buildings and companies to learn more about how Fremont is contributing to the local, national, and global economy.
In 2021, classrooms across Fremont have the opportunity to participate in Manufacturing Day by watching specially produced videos from five local companies. Students can ask questions and leave comments for representatives from the companies to learn more about their operations and what it's like to work there.
