My husband and I met in 2nd grade when we were in the Bilingual program at Blacow, a long time ago. But we actually did not start dating until after we graduated from University.

We both are now teachers in FUSD too!

Mi esposo y yo nos conocimos en segundo grado cuando estábamos en el programa bilingüe en la escuela Blacow, hace mucho mucho tiempo. Pero no nos juntamos hasta después de la universidad.

¡Ambos ahora somos maestros en FUSD también!

Our trips

We LOVE to travel! This summer we traveled to New Orleans, and in the past we have traveled all around Europe, Thailand, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, and several different states in the US. We also love going camping in our RV with our friends and family.

We love family friendly hikes around the bay area.

¡Nos encanta viajar! Este verano viajamos a Nueva Orleans y, anteriormente, hemos viajado por toda Europa, Tailandia, México, Costa Rica, Panamá y varios estados de Estados Unidos. También nos encanta campar en nuestra RV con amigos y familiares.

Nos encantan las caminatas familiares por la area de la bahía.

My boys

We have 2 boys, Nathaniel who is 9 years old and Luke who is 6 years old.

Nathaniel loves to play with friends, explore outside, and watching "old" movies with us. He has been enjoying swimming and camping. This year he is in 4th grade!

Luke loves going surfing and fishing with his dad. He enjoys soccer, basketball, baseball and really loves to do every kind of sport he can learn.

A Nathaniel le encanta jugar con sus amigos, explorar al aire libre y ver películas antiguas con nosotros. Disfruta de la natación y de acampar. ¡Este año está en cuarto grado!

A Luke le encanta surfear y pescar con su papá. Disfruta del fútbol, el baloncesto, el béisbol y le encanta practicar todo tipo de deporte que pueda aprender.

Lucy & Maverick

Lucy (12 yrs) and Mavi (11 yrs) love to play ball at the park. They are our other babies.

Here we were camping in Pinecrest!

Lucy tiene 12 años y Mavi tiene 1 años. Les encanta jugar con la pelota en el parque. Son como otros bebés para nosotros.

Mi Familia

We have a huge family. We love to be around each other to eat dinner, travel, cook, dance, and just be happy together.

Tenemos una familia grande! Siempre nos gusta estar juntos, cenar, viajar, cocinar, bailar y estar felices con todos.

I have been a teacher for 13 years now. I have taught 4th, 5th, 6th, 1st, 2nd and 3nd grade.I also worked in summer camps with kids, and before I became a teacher I was a junior architect.

He sido maestra por 13 años. He enseñado 4to, 5to, 1ro, 2do y tercer grado. También trabaje con niños en campamientos de verano, y antes de ser maestra fui arquitecta junior.

I have my BA in Architecture from the University of Berkeley (Cal) GO BEARS!

I have a teaching bilingual credential from San José state University.

Tengo una credencial bilingüe para ser maestra de la universidad de San José State.

After I graduated, I went to teach and go to school in Madrid, Spain. I taught English to children between the ages of 1 year to 6 years. I also went to the University of Alcalá in Madrid while I was teaching.

Después de graduarme de SJSU y Berkeley, fui a enseñar e ir a la escuela en Madrid, España. Enseñé inglés a niños entre las edades de 1 año a 6 años. También fui a la Universidad de Alcalá en Madrid mientras daba clases.

I have a Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis in English Language Development from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon.

Me encanta ir de compras a Target y Sephora.

I LOVE going shopping to Target and Sephora!

I also love going to Valley Fair, especially Eataly there!

I love exploring new cities, and local shops and restaurants in our cities and Bay Area cities.

Me encanta Cold Stone y los chocolates de See's.

I love all ice cream pretty much, but love cold stone and really love See's chocolates!

We love to go out to eat and try new things. We love sushi, Thai food (Sala Thai), vietnamese, Udon, Chinese Food, Dimsum, pizza, Korean BBQ, Afghan food, pasta, Mexican Food, Salvadorean food, really everything! We love going to local places to try all these out too.
