April = Book Fair & Egg Hunt
The Gold Award Reading Program is a year-long reading program (offered twice per semester) designed to make reading fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate for every grade level.
How it works:
Each student receives a bingo card filled with reading challenges that support fluency, comprehension, and a love of reading. Students complete the challenges, record what they’ve read, and work toward finishing their card.
Students who complete their bingo card will earn a special prize at the end of each trimester. This program is all about enjoying books, challenging yourself, and celebrating reading success!

Hi! My name is Medha, and I’m currently a student at Irvington High School.
I’m passionate about mental health advocacy, research, reading, and helping others. Outside of school, I enjoy listening to music and my favorite artist is SZA.
In my free time, you’ll probably find me watching Netflix, volunteering, or reading a book. My favorite food is pizza, and I can never say no to a chocolate chip cookie!
