MLA Template (Google Docs) 

Change your Google Doc default Font and Text size

1. Open a Google Doc

2. Type something random, then highlight your text

3. Change your Font and Text size (for MLA, use Times New Roman and Size 12) 

4. Optional - Change to Double Spacing as a default.  At the top Menu - Format > Line & Paragraph Spacing > Double

5. At the top Menu - Go to Format > Paragraph styles > Normal text > Update 'Normal Text' to match 

6. At the top Menu - Go to Format > Paragraph styles > Options > Save as my default styles.

Every time you open up a Google Doc, it will always have this Font and Text size. 

Revert your Google Doc back to Google Doc Default Settings 

1. Open a Google Doc

2. Type something random, then highlight your text

3. At the top Menu - Go to Format > Paragraph styles > Options > Reset Styles.

4. At the top Menu - Go to Format > Paragraph styles > Options > Save as my default styles.
