During this difficult time of quarantine, it is important to set a routine around your daily activities. Make sure you are eating at least three meals a day, sleeping at least 8 hours and getting some physical activity at home. This will help keep you positive and minimize any stress you may be feeling. In addition, here is a list of coping strategies to help you pass the day in a healthy way.
Ways to Feel Better
Get to a quiet room and read a good book.
Listen to your favorite music.
Pray, meditate, or focus on a relaxing place.
Listen to or watch something funny.
Run in place for 5 minutes.
Call a friend.
Talk to a parent or other adult who understands and listens.
Write or draw in a journal.
Sing aloud or play an instrument.
Dance to your favorite music.
Be positive and tell yourself things will get better.
Talk about your feelings
Tell someone you love him or her.
Play with your pet.
Spread kindness and send a text to someone and tell them why you appreciate them.
Help your parents around the house by doing a chore without being asked.
