World Geography Club

Why is Geography important?

 Geography helps us learn about the world. It is importnat to know about the world and the various cultures.

 Dates: First and fourth Monday of each month

November 5, November 26, December 3, January 7, January 28, February 4, February 25, March 4, March 25

April 1, April 29, May 6

Location:  Grimmer Computer Lab Room 25

Time: 4:30- 5:30 pm

Items to bring: Notebook and pencils

Charges: Free

 What will  be covered:

1.   The club will follow National Council for Geographic Education Curriculum

2.   The club will include mock bees, interactive games, and students will learn about different countries in the class.

3.   The club will help the students master mental maps from around the world using mnemonics and games.

4.   The club will use Google Cardboard as well as Google Earth to learn about the world.

5.   The students will create posters about different countries and cultures and present to their classmates
