Volunteer at the Durham Library

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Library!

Library Volunteer Description:

• Shelve books in alphabetical and Dewey Decimal order.

• Mend or remove damaged books.

• Process books with labels and protective covers.

• Dust and tidy when needed.

Volunteer Application Instructions:

• All school volunteers are required to submit or have a current Fremont Unified School District Volunteer Application (CiviCore).

• Applicants must upload their driver’s license or passport to the application.

• In the Basic Information field *Type of Volunteering is “On-Campus with Supervision” and *Position Volunteering For is “Elementary Library Volunteer.”

• After the application is submitted, or if you have any questions, contact the Durham Elementary School Librarian, Mx. Schroeder (nschroder@fusdk12.net) for application verification and onboarding.
