HOLDS
Students can login into destiny to put a hold or they can come to the librarian for help.
Food and drinks are not allowed in the library at any time. Please keep books away from food and water, as they can easily be damaged. Do not eat or drink while reading library books—either in the library or at home.
Do not hold a book by only the cover, as this can cause it to tear.
At home, keep books in a safe place—away from younger children who may not yet know how to handle books and away from pets.
Do not scribble, write, or draw in library books. Always use a bookmark to mark your page.
If a book is damaged, please return it to the library. Library staff will determine the extent of the damage.
If a book is beyond repair, the replacement fine is:
$25 for hardcover books
$15 for paperback books
Please check our Damages Page for more information on paying fines.
Please do not place books in random spots. Library books are organized by subject, title, and the Dewey Decimal System.
Use shelf markers to hold your place while browsing to help keep shelves organized.
Please do not shout or run in the library. Be considerate and respectful of others. The library is a quiet space for all students.
