Our library serves around 600 students and contains over 19,000 volumes.  We have 5 chromebooks for student use to conduct research and access our online catalog, Follett Destiny.    Students check out books weekly, but are encouraged to exchange their books during recess or after school if they are done with them.  Our school library has a small section of bi-lingual books in over 12 different languages including Spanish, French, Chinese, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.  

Student Checkouts:

Grade TK/K: 1 book - TK books will stay in the classroom, K will go home

1st grade through 3rd grade: Up to 2 books

4th  grade through 5th grade: Up to 3 books

Books are due weekly but may be renewed for an additional week.  

The Brier library is open during school hours Tuesday - Friday.   Students may visit the library:

• During their weekly library time

• During morning recess (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)

• During lunch recess (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)

• After school (open for 30 minutes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)

Please note the library is closed on Mondays, except for during the Book Fair.
