Ardenwood Library Books Check Out Policy 2023-2024

Ardenwood has an extensive library collection of over 19,000 books. Each class visits during their weekly scheduled library time to check out books.

If a book is lost or damaged beyond repair, the student/parent is responsible to pay for replacement (per Board Policy), $25.00 for (hardcover) and $15.00 for (paperback).

Payment will need to be in the form of cash or check (payable to FUSD - Ardenwood Elementary) or at MySchoolBucks.com->Pay for lost/damaged library books.

*Please look for overdue notices at various times throughout the school year. This will let you know if your child has a book that is overdue at the library. There is no fee if the book is returned without any damages.

*If you move before you have a chance to return a book, please either return the book to the school office/teacher or if your child is attending another FUSD School, please return it to the new school and they will return it to us.
