Mental Health Crisis Resources

Child and Family Support Services (CFSS)

Crisis Line CFSS is a working 24/7 Crisis Line. CFSS is working with their enrolled clients as scheduled and as needed. Flagstaff Medical Center Behavioral Health/Emergency Room (FMC BH)

Anyone who is in psychiatric crisis can go to the FMC emergency room for evaluation. Any adult with AHCCCS in crisis will be referred to TGC. Non-AHCCCS adults needing to be assessed for a psychiatric crisis will be managed by FMC for placement. The adolescent unit at FMC is currently closed for remodeling. Adolescents needing assessment for a psychiatric crisis will be managed by FMC Behavioral Health staff in the ER.

The Guidance Center (TGC)

Crisis response by calling the main line and connecting to their crisis person on duty. Any adult patient who has AHCCCS and in need of assessment for a psychiatric crisis will be managed at TGC. Non-AHCCCS patients need to go to the FMC ER.

Southwest Behavioral Health

Currently open with a protocol to manage the COVID-19 situation. They do not provide any crisis support. They are taking patients for individual counseling and medication management for psychiatric care.
