What is a “peña” ?
It’s a form of entertainment in various Spanish-speaking countries that combines folk music, food, and drink. Salta is particularly famous for them - what tango is to Buenos Aires, peñas are to Salta. Be one with locals who bring their instruments, play at tables right next to you. Everyone gets involved! Explore all the rooms you hear singing and music coming out of after your meal. t here’s no problem just standing to the side and enjoying the music. Here no one is expecting to be paid for music …. these people are singing because they want to have fun and they want you to have fun. The food is traditional and includes mouth-watering empanadas, humitas, tamales, meats, brochettes and regional desserts accompanied by good wines.

#Mountainbiking along this gorgeous gorge
The Calchaquí Valleys, is an unforgettable journey through a region that has witnessed a turbulent pre-Inca and colonial history forged in dramatic surroundings, where the winds and the sun have sculpted its geography. Behind the incredible rock formations of its ravines and multi-colored hills, there are quiet villages whose adobe and thatch houses take travelers back in time to the distant past.
#Cafayate is well known because of its famous torrontes wine product of the exquisite combination of temperature and humidity that provides the ideal environment to the growth of the sweet and deep fruit flavor.
