In this full year course students gain hands-on experience in utilizing MS Office. Students learn advanced word processing skills in MS Word, spreadsheet application knowledge in MS Excel, database creation and management skills in MS Access, and the ability to create dynamic presentations in MS PowerPoint. This course (or its equivalent) is required at most colleges and universities.

create a query with a calculated field, format calculated results, recover from common errors, verify calculated results, create expressions using the expression builder, use built-in functions, add aggregate functions to datasheets and create queries with aggregate functions.
create forms using form tools, modify forms, use the form layout control, sort records in a form, create reports using report tools, use report views, modifying a report and sort and group records in a report.
