Introduction to Business is a course that will give students a broad overview of GRB’s business department and our impact on the community. Students will learn to speak using correct business language such as profit, loss, accounting, human resources, marketing, promotion, law and personal finance.  They will learn the different types of businesses; how to form, market and manage a business; the importance of good recordkeeping and money handling the technology businesses use on a daily basis. This course will include proper use of social media, laws related to business, how businesses hire employees, the types of insurance, and basic financial management.
