What is happening in the Fulton city school district this Summer?
Dear Fulton City School District Families:
We are pleased to announce that FCSD will offer summer camp-style learning programs for our students entering kindergarten through grade 8 this summer.
Please review the program descriptions and registration request information below.
All programs are free to registered, enrolled FCSD students.
Transportation and school meals will be provided.
The programs will be staffed by FCSD teachers, teaching assistants, aides and student support services staff who are familiar with our students, curriculum and resources. We also partner with Oswego County Opportunities to provide a full day experience for our students in the Bridges2Success summer programs.
K-4
Bridges 2 Success
The goals of Bridges 2 Success (B2S) include addressing pandemic learning gaps, building school readiness skills and providing opportunities for social interactions with peers and adults in the school setting.
Bridges 2 Success (B2S) will focus on literacy, math and social-emotional learning in a fun, camp-style learning environment.

Who can attend?
Registered* FCSD students entering kindergarten - fourth grade in September 2024.
*If your child is already attending school, then your child is registered in FCSD.
When?
Two week long sessions will be held with a half day or full day option. Each 2 week session will operate Monday -Friday. Session dates/times are below:
Session 1: 7/8 - 7/19/24
Session 2: 7/22 - 8/2/24
Session 3: 8/5 - 8/16/24
AM Session: 9:00 - 11:30 am
PM Session: 12:30 - 3:00 pm
Full Day Session: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm*
*An enrichment program offered opposite of the academic sessions will be operated in partnership with Oswego County Opportunities. This program will be offered free of charge for families who request the full day session (9:00 am – 3:00 pm).

Registration requests will be open until May 17, 2024.
Spots are limited.
If you see an option on the form that says "WAIT LIST" then you can request that.
If an option is no longer available then we've reached the limit of the program.
Wait list registrations will be added to the program as other registrations are cancelled. Wait list families will be notified if the child is accepted into the program.
Welcome emails will go out after May 17th.

5-8
Community School
The goal of the Community Schools 5-8 program is to address pandemic related learning gaps, promote school readiness and engagement in social emotional well- being.
The FCSD Community School Summer program will provide our middle level students with project-based learning in ELA, social studies, math, science and social skills. In addition, community partners provide enrichment, guest speakers, and a connection to many opportunities available in our community.

Who can attend?
Registered* FCSD students entering the fifth - eighth grades in September 2024.
*If your child is already attending school, then your child is registered in FCSD.
When?
The 4 week program will run Monday - Friday.
July 22 through August 16 9:45am - 12:45pm
Students in this program will attend all 4 weeks. We will work with families whose child(ren) might miss weeks due to family vacations or other commitments.
Additional opportunities:
Enrichment activities coordinated with our community partners such as field trips and access to other services in the community.
