Frequently Asked Questions

My child's Google Classroom assignment has no work attached! Help!

No worries! Your child's work hasn't been deleted, only UN-ATTACHED from that assignment. All work is stored automatically in your child's Google Drive. The work can be un-attached when the "X" on the work is clicked.

My child hasn't started the work, what should I do? It will always give your child the option to "Make a Copy" to START over.

What if your child has already done their work? Click the "Add & Create" button on the assignment and go to Google Drive. Search or browse to find the correct assignment and select it to "Add" it back.

How do you use a trackpad to 'drag' objects on the screen?

This less than 1 minute video shows how to do just that! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbM3zliazA4

I would like automatic updates about how my child is doing in their Google Classes.

As a parent, you can request that one of your child's teachers (you only need to have one of them do it) invite you as a guardian. This sends you an invitation email in which you must click the "Accept" button.

If your email address is a Google account, it will also give you the option to customize whether you want a "weekly" or "daily" update. (Do you want to make your current email address into a Google account? Click here.)

To get started, simply give the preferred email address for yourself to just ONE of your child's teachers and they will add you into the system.
