We encourage participation from any researcher in theoretical chemistry broadly defined (from the traditional subfields of electronic structure theory, chemical dynamics, and statistical mechanics to emerging fields in computational chemistry, molecular biophysics, and materials science). The symposium is catered primarily to researchers in Southern California institutions but it does not exclude participants from outside the region who for any reason wish to attend. Researchers ranging from undergraduate students all the way to PIs are welcome. Symposium attendees may participate as listeners or as poster presenters.
With the exception of invited speakers, all attendees (listeners and poster presenters) must complete the registration form by January 23rd, 2026 in order to facilitate the count of participants/poster presenters. The abstract submission form for poster presenters is included in the registration form.
Since this one-day event is primarily targeted to researchers affiliated to institutions in Southern California, neither transportation nor accommodation will be provided. However, breakfast, lunch, and refreshments throughout the day will be provided (see Program for more details).
