Welcome!

On Satruday, February 7th, 2026, we held the 8th edition of the Southern California Theoretical Chemistry (SoCal TheoChem) Symposium at Cal State Fullerton in Fullerton, CA. This one-day event reinforced the vitality and high concentration of research groups engaged in theoretical chemistry in the geographical area. The primary goal of this boutique workshop is to provide a focused outlet for researchers to present their work to their colleagues, to network and build professional relationships, and to create a stronger community of researchers of the field in the region. The workshop has a strong track-record of participation since its 1st edition in 2016 at UCSD, with subsequent editions in other locations of Southern California (2017: UCI; 2018: Caltech; 2019: USC; 2022: UCR; 2023: UCLA; 2024: UCSD).
