He makes you work hard and think about problems in order to determine an answer for yourself. He is willing to help all students but is insistent on helping them learn rather than giving them answers. Sinan teaches critical thinking and problem solving skills.

While the course material is difficult for me to follow and apply to the field, I appreciate the instructor's patience.

Sinan is a fantastic Prof. And really knows how to teach. He may grade really hard. But it helps make us understand what needs to be fixed. And where we need improvement.

Sinan is a great teacher. He provided very useful information the weeks leading towards mapping field trips and then made sure we used those techniques which helped solidify concepts.

Very nice professor, answers questions effectively and patiently.

Sinan really makes you think as an individual and challenges you to come up with your own answers to questions instead of just handing them to you. He will guide you to the right answer, though.
