Fuller Seminary Church Planting Professional Certificate Cohort
We believe that the ideal training environment for church planters includes 1) meaningful community, 2) curated content, and 3) wise coaching. Welcome to the 9-month Church Planting Professional Certificate Cohort from Fuller Seminary's Church Planting Program.
Your 8-person cohort includes:
Deep Community
You'll journey for 9 months with other planters who will become friends and partners in the gospel. You'll stay connected via a private Slack group.
Curated Content
You'll work through 6 online courses based on the Sent to Flourish book. The courses include interactive content that equips you to write or revise your church planting plan.
Wise Coaching
Your monthly videoconference calls will be facilitated by veteran church planter Len Tang, Director of Fuller's Church Planting Program.
Online Content
Using content from Fuller's new online learning platform, FULLER Equip, this 9-month cohort walks you through six courses (and one final project course) that deepen the three "roots" every planter needs: theology, formation, and mission. The online content will take you about 2-3 hours per week to work through. The Certificate ends by guiding you through writing (or revising) a comprehensive church planting plan:
Theological Reflection
1. Joining God's Mission
2. Holistic Evangelism
Spiritual Formation
3. Formation for Planters
4. Mutual Discipleship for Teams
Missional Skills
5. Reaching Your City
6. Leading Through the 5 Seasons
+ Church Planting Final Project, which brings content together from all three roots.
